ASK QUESTIONS/COMMENT - WASTE MANAGEMENT LANDFILL EXPANSION/EPA SUPERFUND SITE EXHUMATION Waste Management of Wisconsin proposes to expand its Menomonee Falls landfill. The land it wants to use was formerly a toxic waste dump. It is currently a Superfund site, sealed off to protect human health and the environment. Superfund sites are overseen by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). In order to complete the expansion, the toxic waste would need to be dug up.
